Drain repair & relining · Covent Garden & Central London
Drain repair & relining in Covent Garden
We repair drains of practically any size, from no-dig pipe relining to traditional excavation. We always pick the method that fixes the problem properly while keeping disruption to your floors, paving and neighbours to a minimum.

The short answer
What is no-dig drain relining?
No-dig drain relining repairs a damaged pipe from the inside. A resin-soaked liner is fed through the drain from an access point and cured in place, forming a new pipe within the old one. Where a pipe has fully collapsed or needs re-routing, the damaged section is dug out and replaced.
Signs you need us
- CCTV footage showing cracks, open joints or roots
- Repeated blockages in the same place
- Foul smells or damp patches near a drain run
- Rats appearing in a garden or basement
- Sinking paving or a dip in the ground over a drain

FAQs
Drain repair & relining: your questions answered
What is no-dig drain relining?
Relining repairs a cracked or leaking drain from the inside without digging it up. A flexible liner coated in resin is pulled or inverted into the pipe and cured so it hardens into a smooth, jointless new pipe inside the old one. It suits cracks, open joints and root damage, but not a fully collapsed pipe.
When does a drain need digging up instead?
Excavation is usually needed when a section has collapsed, is badly misaligned, has sunk and holds water, or needs re-routing or a new connection. A CCTV survey tells us which situation you have. Often a long run can be relined with only a short section excavated, keeping the dig as small as possible.
How long does a relined drain last?
A properly installed cured-in-place liner is designed to last for decades. How long yours lasts depends on the condition of the host pipe, the liner system and what goes down the drain. We check the finished repair on camera before we leave, so you can see it has cured smoothly and fully.
Will drain repairs disrupt my business or neighbours?
We plan repairs to keep disruption low. Relining usually needs only access to an inspection chamber, so floors and paving stay put. Where we must dig, we keep the excavation small and talk to you about timing, including out-of-hours working for shops, restaurants and offices that can’t close during the day.
