What we collect
- Details you give us in the quote form, contact form, chat, WhatsApp, email or by phone: your name, phone number, email address, the postcode or address of the job, and a description of the problem (including any photos you send).
- Basic technical information our hosting provider logs automatically, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and carry out the work you ask for (lawful basis: steps prior to entering a contract, and performance of a contract).
- To keep records of work done for warranty, insurance, tax and accounting purposes (lawful basis: legal obligation and legitimate interests).
- To keep this website secure (lawful basis: legitimate interests).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business: our website host, our form-handling service (which delivers form submissions to us), WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose to message us there, and Google if you choose to load the map. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work are kept for up to 6 years to meet tax and legal requirements.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Contact us using the details above.
